Managing Audit Report Results
Once you create an audit report, you can:

Download an Audit Report
You can download a report to your computer in either of the following formats:

HTML: You can open this file in any web browser to display its data in a printer-friendly format. Large reports may take longer to open.
*
CSV (comma-separated values): You can import the data in this file to a spreadsheet program or data analysis tool.
To download an audit report:

The Download Audit Report dialog box appears:

In the File Name box, type a name for the file. You do not have to include a file extension.

Under File Format, select the type of file you want to download.

Click Download.
A file download dialog box appears.
5.
Click Open to view the file contents immediately.
Click Save to save the file to disk.
Print an Audit Report
Once you create an audit report, you can display it in a printer-friendly format. This format includes a summary of the audit report search criteria at the top of the page. For example:
Printing a large report from Message Archiving may cause your web browser to time out. If the report contains a large amount of data, we recommend that you download the report first, and then print it. For details, see Download an Audit Report.
To print an audit report:

The report data appears in a new browser window.

Use your browser’s Print option to print the report.
Change the Sort Order of an Audit Report
When you select the criteria for an audit report, you can choose a sort order for the contents of the report. You can sort:

You can also sort the contents of the report after you create it.
To change the sort order after you create a report:

On the Create Audit Report panel, in the Select Sort Order drop-down list, select another option:

Click Create Report.
The report contents reflect the new sort order.
View Content of a Message in an Audit Report
You can view the content of any message listed in the report if your user account has the Archive Search privilege. Once you display a message’s content, you can export it or print it.
Note: After you view a message in the archive, Message Archiving adds your email address to the list of viewers for the message. (The length of time it takes for your address to be added depends upon the number of messages being processed at the time.) For more information about this list, see Display a List of Message Viewers.
To view the content of a message in an audit report:
In the Search History information for the message, click the View Message link:
The Message Contents page appears, showing the content of the message.
Display a List of Message Viewers
For any archived message listed in an audit report, you can display the Message Access Events panel, which includes:

A list of all the users who have previously accessed that message in either the corporate archive or Personal Archive—this is, viewed or exported that message

To view a list of message viewers:
In the Search History information for the message, click the Show All Viewers link:
The Message Access Events panel appears.
Note: Once a user accesses a message, the length of time it takes for the corresponding email address to be added to the list of viewers depends upon the number of messages being processed at the time.
If your user account has the Archive Search privilege, you can also display a list of all viewers of any message you retrieve from the archive using the Search tab or Discovery tab. To display the list, click the Show all Viewers link in the Action panel for the message in your search results list.
