POSTINI TAPS IBM EXECUTIVE TO HEAD WORLDWIDE MARKETING AND EXTEND LEADERSHIP IN INTEGRATED MESSAGE MANAGEMENT
New Executive VP of Worldwide Marketing, Daniel Druker, to Drive Global Channel and Product Line Expansion
SAN CARLOS, CA, June 26, 2006 – Postini, the global leader in Integrated Message Management, today announced the appointment of Daniel Druker as executive vice president of worldwide marketing. Druker joins Postini from IBM with a formidable background in marketing, sales and business leadership with successful high-growth software companies including Trigo Technologies, Hyperion Solutions, Arbor Software and Oracle.
This new executive hire adds to Postini's already world-class executive team as the company moves to extend its leadership in Integrated Message Management through global, channel and product line expansion. Druker's hire is also strategic as the company continues to enhance its managed service offerings which currently provide security and management to email, instant messaging, and the Web, to more than 35,000 clients and more than nine million end-users.
At IBM, Druker developed and executed IBM's master data management strategy resulting in more than $1.5 billion in acquisitions and acknowledged leadership against competitors SAP, Oracle and Microsoft. He most recently led all global marketing for the highest growth, highest value segments of the $4 billion information management division of IBM. At Trigo, Druker successfully transformed the business, adopting an industry-centric, solutions-based focus that dramatically boosted value for the company's clients. Under his leadership Trigo's market capitalization quadrupled, culminating with a successful acquisition by IBM in April 2004.
Druker also served as vice president of product marketing and general manager for Hyperion Solutions, where he was responsible for all product marketing and strategy initiatives including the successful revamp of the company's technology and business solutions following the merger of Hyperion and Arbor Software. At Arbor, Druker helped the company create and lead new markets over larger competitors including Microsoft and Oracle.
